i just watched the sunrise over the island of mauritius. it was incredible. could someone pinch me? this is my life?!
love to all, sleep well! i'm off to breakfast, an 0800 diplomatic briefing and then off the ship. no word on how long it will take to clear the ship, they begged for us to be patient last night. so here's hoping we all get off quickly!

Hi there,
Read the Capetown Chronicles and was indeed getting ready for bed. Glad you saw another beautiful sunrise. Have fun in port.

HI SISTER. I'm at school, I'm bored. But your life sounds like fun. I can't wait to see all of your sunrise pics... so many good background options ;)

Laura, I talked with your Mom a day or so ago and caught up on you sas. AMAZING...I am envious, jealous and soooo proud of YOU. Your Mom and I thought a road trip to CT was an adventure...of course that WAS a lifetime ago; and we did have amazing fun times together. Your sas is however ever, so much more fabulous and I love that you are able to document about each adventure, later in life your review of this adventure will bring many happy memories. I am also enjoying the dialogue between you and your friends and family in the comment section. Having come "on board" a little late I spent an entire morning reading and enjoying your adventure and also enjoying how everyone seems to be a part of it in a way. Your descriptions are so real and intriguing that I took out a map to see just where you are. I have told Emily and Katie about your adventures and just came across the "I Love Lucy" reference. Katie just loves Lucy reruns and will really enjoy your grape stomping story. Your descriptions of the wine country remind me of Napa Ca. I haven't been up there in years but it is very similar to your descriptions. Your parents came to visit many moons ago and we left our mark in Napa. We actually found a B&B made out of a train. You can bet that your Dad stayed in the caboose!! Well I could go on and on and I know you have alot to do and experience. So keep up the fantastic work and enjoy the ride... love and lima hugs
